What it's about:
roadly speaking, 'This is Going to Hurt' follows Kay's disillusionment with the NHS after six years in the sector (true story, if that wasn't already obvious).
Does what it says on the tin and a lot more!
Kay is simultaneously outrageously funny and deadly serious, and the book is VERY hard to put down.
One thing I’d say is that if you are looking for a shorter read, buy the condensed Christmas edition. I imagine you get exactly the same message but in fewer pages.
Like those of you who watch too much ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ or ‘Call the Mid-wife’, I have now semi-convinced myself that I too could deliver a baby through caesarean (don’t try this at home).
